According to the Agricultural Economic Bulletin released this Thursday (4) by the Rural Economy Department (Deral), from the State Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), the variable cost to produce soybeans in the current crop remains at a similar level to last year. The survey indicates that "the variable cost to produce 55 bags of 60 kg per hectare is R$ 3,212.00, which corresponds to R$ 58.39 per bag." According to Deral, the value shows "an increase of 0.76%" compared to the same period in 2024. The increase was mainly influenced by expenses on external transportation, seeds, and fertilizers.
