Between January and November 2021, Peru's fruit and vegetable exports exceeded USD 5.12 billion, marking a 22% increase compared to the previous year. This growth is primarily due to high international demand for nutritious and quality produce, especially avocados and blueberries. The United States was the leading market for these exports, followed by the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, vegetable exports, led by asparagus, saw a 4.4% increase during the same period. The United States also topped the list for vegetable orders.
