(Agraria.pe) In the first half of 2025, total Peruvian exports amounted to US$ 40,097,900,000, registering an increase of 20.2% compared to the US$ 33,350 million reported in the same period of 2024, reaching a historical record, reported the Center for Research in Economics and Global Business of the Association of Exporters (CIEN-ADEX). The president of the guild, César Tello Ramírez, highlighted that this result responds largely to the better prices of minerals. Only copper and its concentrates, whose shipments amounted to US$ 11,404 million, represented 28.4% of the total value of exports. In the first half of this year, traditional exports reached US$ 29,656,100,000, reflecting a 19.5% increase over the same period of 2024, marking a record in shipments. This sector accounted for 74% of the total exports.
