The leading firm was Machu Picchu Foods S.A.C., followed by Sumaqao S.A.C., Exportadora Romex S.A., Amazonas Trading Perú S.A.C., Cafetalera Amazónica S.A.C., Agro San Gerardo E.I.R.L., Compañía Nacional de Chocolates de Perú S.A., Cooperativa Agraria Cacaotera Acopagro, Asociación Cacaotera de Tocache and Villa Andina S.A.C. Peru aims to produce 250 thousand tons of cocoa by 2030.
