Pesticide residues examined 70,000 samples in 3 months

The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation revealed that the Central Laboratory for Analysis of Pesticide Residues and Heavy Elements in Food, affiliated with the Agricultural Research Center, has received over 70,000 samples of food commodities from regulatory authorities or clients over the past three months, which were analyzed in the laboratory's various sections and results were issued. This comes according to an official report on the laboratory's most prominent efforts during the third quarterly report of the current year, within the directives of Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and under the supervision of Dr. Adel Abdel-Azim, President of the Agricultural Research Center, to support workers in the agricultural sector and the food industries sector, and to contribute to supporting Egyptian agricultural exports.
