Poland is the fifth largest producer of raspberries in the world and the leading producer in the European Union, accounting for 51% of the EU's raspberry production in 2020. The country's raspberry cultivation area varied between 27-30 thousand hectares from 2012-2020, with the Lubelskie Province being the largest producer. Raspberry yields in Poland ranged from 2.6-4.5 tons per hectare, and the majority of the production was exported, mainly to Germany and Belgium, either fresh or frozen.
