The Sierra Centro Sur Special Project has supported over 3,000 producer families in the regions of Huancavelica and Apurímac, Peru, in recovering agricultural soils and achieving sustainable forest and fruit seedling production. With an investment of over S/ 7.7 million, the project has benefited 1,400 producers in Secclla, providing avocado seedlings and aiding in the formation of six agricultural associations. In Apurímac, the project has aided over 1,600 families, formalizing eight associations and producing 410,000 peach, custard apple, cirole, and avocado seedlings across 672 hectares.
