Dry bean harvesting in the district of Ahlat, one of the important production centers of Eastern Anatolia, began approximately 10 days ago. Bitlis Governor Ahmet Karakaya both participated in the harvest and listened to the problems of the farmers. The dry beans, which were previously cut and left to dry in the field, are separated using agricultural equipment and delivered to factories for packaging.
