The Argentine agricultural sector experienced a dynamic semester, marked by historical records in processing and foreign exchange income, according to data provided by the agro-industrial monitor of the Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (CIARA CEC). In June, the processing of sunflower seeds reached a record for that month, with 489 thousand tons, representing a 4.5% increase over May. Additionally, the accumulated amount for the first semester climbed to 2.235 million tons, driven by higher local production and firm international demand for oils.
