Russia has seen a 21% increase in its meat and meat product exports from January 1 to January 26, compared to the same period in 2023, totaling 35,694 tons. The majority of these exports were meat and poultry by-products, with China being the primary importer. Pork exports also saw a 10% increase, with Belarus and Vietnam as the main buyers. The recent approval of pig product imports from Russia by China could potentially make it one of the largest importers of this meat.
