The article highlights the success of purple breast milk exports from Ke Sach district in Soc Trang province, Vietnam, despite challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. With over 156 tons produced in the 2020-2021 crop year, the district has established itself as the largest producer in the Mekong Delta and has received a 4-star OCOP rating for its product. Despite some loss due to salinity and disease, the district plans to further increase production by extending harvest time and developing a preservation process for the breast milk. The cooperatives are also supplying high-quality breast milk to the domestic market, with exports nearly doubling due to superior bagging practices and maturity observation. The article emphasizes the need for continued support from scientists and businesses to further boost production and export of this product.
