The harvesting, purchase and processing of gooseberries are just beginning. The prices for another year in a row are below production costs, which results in systematic grubbing up of plantations. Will we soon see the year when processors will have nothing to buy? Although the gooseberry yield this year will be slightly higher than last year's, it is still not the full potential of this species. The planting area is decreasing year by year. The drops are in no way compensated by the purchase prices, which are below production costs for the fifth year in a row. The plants currently offer producers 0.50 PLN / kg.
