Tacna: With S/1.3 million, they co-finance business plans of 7 productive associations in Ilabaya

The District Municipality of Ilabaya, in Jorge Basadre province, Tacna region, delivered symbolic checks totaling S/1,322,092.63 to seven winning associations of the Procompite 2025 Competitive Fund. Through co-financing their business plans, the aim is to strengthen and boost the district's productive activities. These associations, made up of a total of 67 members, presented proposals in the productive chains of avocado, chili pepper, oregano, bakery, and perill pear, key sectors for the local economy. During the ceremony, the mayor of Ilabaya, engineer Juan Ordoñez Miranda, handed over the symbolic checks and highlighted that these resources will improve the competitiveness of small producers and promote the district's economic development.
