[Nongsuchaksan Newspaper=Reporter Nara Park] Taean County (with the county magistrate) has achieved the result of securing a total of 6.6 billion won in project funds by being selected for both the 'Oyster Spawning and Habitat Creation' and 'Sea Forest Creation' projects in the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries' bidding business. The 'Oyster Spawning and Habitat Creation Project' will be carried out over a period of five years from next year until 2030, focusing on three sea areas in Geunheung, Nammyeon, and Anmyeon. The county will invest a total of 3 billion won (including 1.5 billion won in national funds) to install spawning facilities, collect marine waste, transplant oyster parent bodies, and gradually restore the spawning environment. Additionally, a scientific management system will be introduced, including the management of spawning facilities, the investigation of inflow rates, and underwater monitoring, to ensure the effectiveness of the project.
