Taiwan purchased 65 thsd tons of feed corn

On November 13, Taiwan’s MFIG Group purchased 65,000 tonnes of feed corn at a tender, Reuters reported. Traders believe the corn will be sourced from the United States. Bunge won the tender. The purchase price was equal to the May CBOT corn contract plus a premium of 177.28 cents per bushel on a C&F basis. According to traders, U.S. corn dominated the tender. A total of eight companies bid 65,000 tonnes of U.S. corn each.
