Farmers will have access to new support opportunities in the field of organic farming and beekeeping. This became possible following the publication in the latest issue of the State Gazette of the Ordinance on Amendments and Supplements to Ordinance No. 9 of 2023 on the Conditions and Procedure for Implementing the Interventions "Organic Farming" and "Organic Beekeeping." The changes are part of the implementation of the fourth amendment to the Strategic Plan for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas 2023–2027, approved in February 2026. With the changes adopted, the scope of support for the organic farming intervention is expanded, allowing farmers growing mixed vegetable crops to also apply for financial support. For producers in the group "Mixed outdoor vegetable crops," the maximum allowable area for support is up to 5 hectares, and for heated and unheated greenhouse areas, the maximum allowable area is up to 2 hectares.
