The export potential of the Altai Territory in Russia continues to cover new borders

Altai cereal products are exported by 33 countries of the world. In addition to the usual Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, which consume 65% of the supplied products, this segment is imported by Malaysia, Paraguay, Chile, Myanmar. According to phytosanitary certificates for 11 months of the current year, cereals accounted for 8% of the total volume of products shipped for export from the Altai Territory. So, 117 thousand tons of cereal products were sent, 50% of which - buckwheat, 23% - pea, 6% are semolina and oatmeal. Since the beginning of 2022, the Altai branch of the Center for Grain Quality Assessment has received 837 applications for laboratory testing of cereal products.
