For the first time, Iran has exported citrus fruits to China, a move initiated last year with the aim to diversify its export products beyond petrochemical and mineral raw materials. The Trade Development Organization, led by Alireza Peyman Pak, played a key role in obtaining the necessary license to export citrus, with a focus on boosting the export potential of Mazandaran province. The agreement on citrus export to China was part of a larger memorandum that also included the export of Iranian dairy and agricultural products, such as apples. This marks a significant step towards enhancing economic cooperation and agricultural trade between Iran and China.
