The Hungarian Bread - 15 Million Wheat Grains program in Somogyvár is encouraging farmers to donate wheat to those in need across the border, aiming to collect three tons this year, despite a medium harvest. The program, which involves farmers donating wheat from Hungary and Hungarian-inhabited settlements, has been running for over a decade and is organized by the Association of Hungarian Farmers' and Farmers' Cooperatives (Magosz), the National Chamber of Agricultural Economics, the Hungarian Bread Foundation, and the Association of Agricultural Associations of Vojvodina. The milling of the collected wheat will be done in Barcs this year.
