The government allocates R$ 14.6 million for purchases from family farming.

The Federal Government will allocate R$ 14.6 million for the purchase of rice, grapes, and fish from family agriculture, through the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), in the Institutional Purchase modality. The acquisition will be carried out by the National Supply Company (Conab), which opened this Tuesday (23) the registration of proposals, with a deadline for submission until Thursday (25). According to Conab, “the acquisition will be made by the National Supply Company (Conab), through the Food Acquisition Program (PAA), in the Institutional Purchase modality”. The initiative aims to expand support for family farmers and reinforce the supply of food intended for public food security policies. According to Institutional Purchase Notice No. 11/2025, around R$ 4 million will be allocated for the purchase of polished rice produced by family farmers from Paraná.
