Spain: The intervention for butter and skimmed milk powder opens

From yesterday, March 1, until next September 30, the public intervention will be open for skimmed milk powder and butter (Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013). In the case of butter, fixed price purchases are established up to 50,000 t throughout the EU. The purchase price is set at 90% of EUR 246.39 / 100 kg (reference threshold), referring to a minimum butterfat content of 82% by weight and a maximum water content of 16% by weight. In purchases by tender, the proposed price will not exceed the intervention price, which is € 221.75 / 100 kg. In the case of skimmed milk powder, there will be purchases at a fixed price and by tender.
