Jeonnam Rural Development Administration (Director Kim Haeng-ran) announced last 28th that it successfully held the 'Black Goat Cooking Competition' at the '2025 International Agricultural Expo' to expand the consumption of black goats and develop new cooking methods. This competition, held for the 4th time this year, was conducted under the theme 'Black Goat Food Mileage Cooking that Changes the World' and featured 10 teams (30 people) from the Department of Culinary Arts and Bakery at Honam University, who showcased various dishes using local agricultural products and black goats. Participants presented a variety of dishes including sous-vide cooking, fusion Korean and Chinese cuisine, and Dongpo meat recipes using black goats, blending tradition and modernity to delight the audience.
