INTERFAX.RU - The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation proposes to lower the limit prices for wheat, upon reaching which in the 2026/27 agricultural year (from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027) purchase and commodity interventions may be carried out. The prices for rye are proposed to be increased, and for barley to be left at the previous level, according to the draft order of the department posted on the website regulation.gov.ru. The prices are determined for all regions of the Russian Federation and are agreed with the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing of Russia. Thus, the limit minimum prices for grade 3 wheat during purchase interventions are proposed at 14,630 rubles per tonne with VAT (14,850 rubles in the 2025/26 agricultural year), 13,300 rubles without VAT (13,500 rubles), for grade 4 wheat - 13,970 rubles (14,190 rubles) and 12,700 rubles (12,900 rubles) respectively, for rye of at least grade 3 - 12,320 ...
