Milk production reached 425.1 thousand tons. According to Kurskstat, as of the end of December 2025, the livestock population in the Kursk region amounted to 122.5 thousand heads, including 48.4 thousand cows. The main part of the cattle is kept in agricultural organizations - 92.0 thousand heads, or 75.1% of the total.
