Poland's Main Statistical Office (GUS) has reported a significant rise in food prices, with the smallest increase seen in vegetables and fruits at 8.8%. The most significant price increase was seen in tomatoes, which rose by 34%, while the price of lettuce increased the least, by 2.2%. Prices for apples and tomatoes have also seen a notable rise in Europe, with Poland experiencing one of the lowest increases in fruit and vegetable prices globally.
