The Defense Ministry's procurement agency "State Logistics Operator" announced food product purchases for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the second half of 2025 totaling 22.5 billion hryvnias. The Defense Ministry reported this. The defense department ensured the allocation of necessary financial resources for early procurement announcements in the Prozorro system, which will allow organizing quality food services in the troops during the second half of this year. Procurements have been announced for delivery to all regions, except Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, where an updated supply model is in effect. The new contracts provide for enhanced quality control, including mandatory laboratory tests for sweet cream butter and hard cheeses, which have been leaders in the number of complaints from servicemembers.
