In the first half of 2024, Vietnam saw a 26% increase in cashew nut exports, reaching 353,528 tons, with the US, China, Netherlands, Germany, and UAE being the top importers. Export volumes increased in 27 markets, with Lithuania and Belarus experiencing the highest growth, while Pakistan experienced the largest decrease. The US, China, and the Netherlands were the three largest cashew export markets in terms of turnover, totaling 1.03 billion USD, or 53% of Vietnam's total cashew export turnover. The price of cashew nuts varied greatly across markets, with those exported to Hong Kong (China) having the highest price at 7,986 USD/ton.
