Paraguay has conquered new markets for pork and beef offal at the end of March. In conversation with Paraguay TV, Estefanía Laterza, national director of the Import and Export Network (Rediex), highlighted that our country added two destinations for food exports during the pandemic. In March, Paraguay exported for the first time different cuts of boneless pork to Uruguay for a value of USD 115 193. It should be noted that the neighboring country became a new destination for the products of the national pork sector, because after a virtual technical audit carried out by the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of Uruguay, it was decided to enable shipments of boneless pork to the Uruguayan market. Another destination conquered in March for giblets was Montenegro, since a local meat processing plant exported loads of omass (parts of the bovine digestive system) to the European country for USD 144,339.
