The USDA predicts a significant decline in global wheat production by 7.44 million tonnes to 790.75 million tonnes, primarily due to adverse weather in Russia, Ukraine, and the EU. Consequently, global wheat consumption is expected to drop by 4.3 million tonnes to 798.0 million tonnes, with a notable decrease in feed use. World wheat trade is also forecasted to fall by 3.2 million tonnes to 212.8 million tonnes, and global ending stocks for 2024/25 are projected to decrease by 1.3 million tonnes to 252.3 million tonnes. In the feed grain market, global production for the 2024/2025 season is anticipated to be 1.4 million tonnes lower at 1.511 billion tonnes, with slight increases in foreign corn production and decreases in global barley production.
