A total of 1 ton of green mangoes was exported from Vietnam to the United States, marking a significant step in promoting Vietnamese agricultural products on the international stage. This event, organized by VINA T&T Import & Export Service Co., Ltd. and Thanh Binh Agricultural Products Import & Export Co., Ltd., was highlighted by the long-term negotiations between Vietnamese and American agencies, aiming to open up new opportunities for local agricultural products. Tien Giang Province, known for its 88,000 hectares of fruit planting area, which accounts for nearly 40% of its agricultural land, is responsible for the production of a significant portion of Vietnam's fruit output. The province's production is aimed not only at the domestic market but also at international markets, including China, South Korea, Japan, the United States, New Zealand, and Europe. The mango exports are anticipated to bring new opportunities, boost the global presence of local mangoes, generate foreign exchange, and provide sustainable livelihoods for farmers in professional planting areas.
