In the Akçakoca district of Düzce, there is a notable abundance of anchovies in the Western Black Sea, with large catches being distributed across Anatolia. Fisherman Tuncay Gür expects this trend to continue, with smaller anchovies going to flour mills and larger ones reaching markets. Additionally, an increase in bluefish is anticipated. Current fish market prices are 100 TL for anchovies, 150 TL for horse mackerel, 250 TL for red mullet, and 200 TL for sea bream.
