Turkey's aquatic products exports reached 1.4 billion dollars in 10 months

In the statement made by the Aegean Exporters' Association, it was stated that Turkey's aquatic products exports amounted to 1 billion 404 million dollars in the 10-month period of 2023, and 68 percent of this export was made from the Aegean Region. While sea bass maintained its top place in aquatic products exports with an amount of 435 million dollars, it was reported that bream exports were 353 million dollars, salmon exports were 315 million dollars, and trout exports were 96 million dollars. It was noted that 73 percent of sea bass and 78 percent of sea bream were exported fresh, while 74 percent of salmon exports were frozen.
