The Government of Ukraine has reduced the planned spending for this year on some of the budget programs related to supporting farmers in the country, as revealed by Cabinet Resolution No. 1698 published on the Government Portal. The reason for the Cabinet's actions is the reallocation of budget funds due to the need to make a corresponding urgent contribution to the U.S.-Ukraine Investment Fund for Recovery, which requires an increase in spending on the budget program "Measures to strengthen the institutional capacity for preparing public investment projects for public-private partnerships, as well as for fulfilling obligations under international agreements" by 577.97 million hryvnia (13.711 million dollars). In this situation, spending on the "Financial support for farmers" program has been reduced by 150 million hryvnia, funding for compensation for the costs of humanitarian demining of agricultural ...
