Devida, the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs, has successfully promoted 400 entrepreneurial families from the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro Valley (Vraem) to produce 13,187 kilos of cocoa and coffee derivatives, generating sales of S / 494,998 from April to October. This initiative, part of the Vraem 2021 Strategy, included investing over seven million soles in cocoa and coffee processing modules and providing support in organic certification, market search, and product transformation. The goal is to add value to their production and find new market niches, with the sales channeled through various local and regional marketing spaces.
