Weather favors corn planting at the beginning of the season

The advance in sowing occurs mainly in the Southern Region, which traditionally starts the cultivation. There are also areas planted in irrigated regions of Goiás and São Paulo. In the other producing states, planting is expected to begin in mid-November and continue until February 2026. According to the survey, the crops are showing good development, boosted by frequent and well-distributed rainfall. However, the low temperatures in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul have delayed the emergence and initial development of the crop, without impacting the productive potential.
