Russia is set to achieve a record wheat export of 29.4 million tons in the first half of the 2024/25 agricultural season, marking a significant increase of 1.7 million tons from the previous season, according to Rusagrotrans. Egypt emerges as the leader in Russian wheat imports, followed by Bangladesh, Turkey, Algeria, and Kenya, with substantial increases in import volumes from the previous year. This comes as part of a larger grain export forecast for the current agricultural season, expected to reach between 55-60 million tons.
