With sorghum, Tekirdağ farmer's hope against drought

Within the scope of the "Dane Sorghum Production Dissemination Project" carried out by the Tekirdağ Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, a Field Day event was organized in Kepenekli Village of Muratlı District. The importance, advantages, and suitability of the sorghum plant for the region were explained to the participating producers through practical demonstrations in the field. Provincial Director Mehmet Aksoy stated that their aim in plant production was to disseminate sustainable and income-generating crop patterns by making the most efficient use of ecological conditions. In animal production, they aimed to increase efficiency with high-quality and low-cost feed.
