World Food Day, celebrated this Thursday (16), highlights the importance of sustainable production and food security. Created in reference to the founding of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), the date will complete 80 years in 2025 with the theme “Hand in hand for better food and a better future”. The goal is to stimulate cooperation between governments, producers, and companies to eradicate hunger and ensure access to healthy food. Despite advances, millions of Brazilians still face food insecurity, reinforcing the urgency of the issue in the country.
