Coffee production chain impacted by COVID-19 restrictions

Although the operation of the coffee production sector is authorized by the Government amidst the COVID-19 measures, producers are complaining that the quarantine and circulation restrictions are affecting the production. These restrictions are hampering the work mainly because workers have difficulties in reaching the fields, as authorities are not always aware that coffee production is authorized and because transportation is complicated.
