Raining season was suppose to start in October and its delay affected Cocoa harvest in Madre de Dios province, of which it normally occurs on mid-April, but this year it is epxected to happen only in May.

A good thing is that farmers expect an increase on production comparing to 2019. Although problems caused by the COVID19 situation is making it hard for them to gather enough workforce for the harvest. Summing up to transportation issues and the ongoing quarantine.
