As cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products sector, an increase of 41.5% of export was achieved in January compared to the same month of the previous year

In January, as this sector, we exported to 190 countries. The top 4 exported countries were Iraq with USD 150 million, the USA with USD 59.5 million, Syria with USD 43.8 million, and Libya with USD 29 million. One of the most striking countries in January was India. Half of the product sold for the whole year In 2021 was exported in the last two months. To Afghanistan, it's increased 15 times that of January last year with the effect of the export conjuncture; over USD 15 million per month. At the breakdown of the sector, the highest export in January 2022, USD 160.2 million, was realized in milling products, an increase of 40.5 compared to the same month of the previous year. This sector was followed by pastry products with USD 145.2 million export and vegetable oils with USD 142.6 million. For other sub-sectors, food preparations are USD 89.6 million; pulses are USD 76.18 million; sugar and sugar products are USD 75.5 million; oilseeds and their products are USD 46.9 million; grain USD 13.9 million, spices USD 3.6 million.
