In W9, Brazilian mangoes prices stood at BRL 140/27kg box in the São Paulo wholesale market, reflecting a 130% year-over-year (YoY) increase. This price surge is due to lower production in Vale do São Francisco, the main production area in Brazil, caused by high temperatures during flowering in 2023. Additionally, export pressures have led to increased local prices in Brazil.
