According to the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, inspections of companies and their products are continuing in response to claims that carcinogenic colourants have been detected in Turkish-branded spice products sent to Singapore. It has been noted that an unauthorised colourant was found in the same brand's sumac product in an inspection conducted in May–July. This emphasises the value of trustworthy trade that provide validation, follow-up on purchase, quality, production, loading, and customer satisfaction upon arrival.
