Common bean harvest season is almost completed in Brazil, but prices still haven't given way

Although the harvesting stage of the first harvest is more than half completed in Brazil, common bean prices still haven't given way. Black common bean is currently traded at US$ 1,450/ton, 95% above the same period last year, while carioca common bean is being traded at US$ 1,380/ton, 30% above the same period last year. Common beans have three harvests in the year, the first and second harvests being the most relevant.
