Norwegian Fresh Salmon Price Dropped 4.5% WoW in W19 Due to Low Demand

During W19, the price of Norwegian fresh salmon HON (3-6 KG FCA Oslo) experienced a further decline of 4.5% WoW, dropping from USD 10.33/kg in W18 to USD 9.86/kg in W19. This is attributed to lower demand and reduced consumption of salmon during the summer season, as is the norm in European culture, since salmon is generally more popular during the winter. The export volume in W19 likely also experienced a decrease similar to the previous week.
