Coronavirus delaying shipment in major port in Eastern Java

Due to the rise in coronavirus cases in Surabaya regency in East Java province, the shipment process in and out of Tanjung Perak port has experienced a slight delay over the past week. The delay has been attributed to the extra inspection process that the local quarantine agency must perform to the people involved in the shipment and to the commodities to ensure that the commodities are safe to consumed by the customers in the port of destination. The delay is expected to continue over to the last week of July 2020 or during the prolonged quarantine effort by Teh local government.
