Within the scope of the Digital Agriculture Project carried out by Vodafone Business with one of the largest banks in Turkey since September 2019, the number of Digital Agriculture Stations established to benefit a wide variety of crop producers such as olives, tomatoes, cherries, strawberries, and potatoes throughout Turkey reached 27.

USD 4.1 million economic contributions were made by providing services to 12,700 producers in the areas covered by all stations. About USD 1 million was achieved thanks to the instant alerts offered by the digital agriculture station and the cost reduction caused by fertilization, spraying, and irrigation at the right time, and economic benefit amounting to USD 2.4 million was acquired through the regular analysis of the data obtained from the digital agriculture station sensors related to soil, air and pests, and the use of diseases and crops. It came from the increase in yield created by taking pre-emptive action against the loss. Crops including tomato, olive, cherry, peach, plum, vineyard, field crops, strawberry, lemon, and potato in Bursa, İzmir, Mersin, and Afyonkarahisa benefited directly from the digitization of agriculture.
