The sowing stage of the winter crops has just begun in the state of Mato Grosso in Brazil. The cowpea is being disregarded by a local producer and exporter in this season due to the greater occurrence of weevils. In replacement of this crop, mung beans and Adzuki beans will be sown. The harvest stage will begin in June.
