EU agrees to end import tariffs on US lobsters

The EU has agreed to ease the trade tensions with the United States and the European Commission has agreed to lift the import tariffs on frozen and live lobsters. Once the decision is ratified by all member states, the regulation is planned to be permanent.
The US in return agreed to reduce the import tariffs on ready-packaged meal imports from the EU however, the tariff reduction will not include the Spanish olive oil exports to the US.
