Green onion prices drop due to unmet expectations

Consumers have bought more than enough green onions, causing the price to go up due to concern over the possibility of typhoon landing in Taiwan . The typhoon never came and because buyers already have enough supply, the price green onions plummeted from the higher price before. Vegetables saw a drop in prices due to the typhoon not descending in Taiwan, however, green onions saw the biggest dip overall, around 30% drop, from $4/KG to $2.67/KG.
